COMPAQ INTERNATIONAL introduces the CLT-SOLAR Series—a dedicated line of low voltage heat shrink termination kits tailored for solar and renewable power applications up to 3kV.
Specifically engineered for use with single-core to five-core unscreened solar cables, these kits ensure reliable insulation, mechanical strength, and long-term protection in field installations.
Each termination uses high-shrink-ratio, non-tracking heat shrink tubing along with a field-proven sealing mastic. The result is a robust end-sealing solution that offers outstanding environmental resistance and electrical insulation—critical for modern photovoltaic systems.
Accommodates cable insulation diameters ranging from 14 mm to 60 mm, using just two standard kit sizes for simplified inventory and selection.
Reduces air gaps and ensures tight, uniform adhesion across varying cable sizes, improving sealing and stress relief.
Manufactured using UV-stabilized, flame-retardant red polyolefin to resist tracking, surface erosion, and environmental aging.
Integrated sealing mastic provides effective protection against water ingress and environmental exposure in both indoor and outdoor terminations.
Installs easily in the field using standard heat sources such as gas torches or hot air tools—no special equipment required.
