• Where terminations are to be mounted on outdoor installations (onto poles or other structure for connection onto overhead lines), Compaq can offer a range of high-quality standoff insulators for voltage up to 36kV. The polymeric insulator consists of a fibreglass core covered with a weather resistant polymeric shed. These insulators offer superior performance in polluted environments, are flame/ arc resistant and UV stable. Silicone or Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) can also be provided as the housing materials depending upon the requirements of the clients.
