COMPAQ was pleased to participate in Middle East Energy Dubai 2026, held from 1–3 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Middle East Energy brought together companies, utilities, EPC contractors, consultants, distributors and power-sector professionals from across the world. For us, it was an opportunity to meet the people behind important electrical projects, understand their requirements and present our growing range of cable accessory solutions.

The 2026 edition marked the 50th Middle East Energy event and covered the complete power value chain, including power generation, transmission, distribution, clean energy, storage and critical power.

Three Days at the COMPAQ Stand

Throughout the event, the COMPAQ stand remained active with product discussions, technical questions and new business meetings.

Some visitors already knew COMPAQ and came to discuss ongoing requirements and future projects. Others were meeting our team and seeing our products for the first time.

Both types of conversations were equally valuable.

Rather than giving a general presentation, our team focused on the actual needs of each visitor—the cable type, voltage level, application, installation conditions, approval requirements and project location. This helped us have practical discussions instead of simply talking about products.

Cable Accessory Solutions Presented at MEE 2026

At our stand, we presented cable accessory systems for low-, medium- and high-voltage applications, including:

  • Heat-shrink cable joints and terminations
  • Cold-shrink cable joints and terminations
  • Pre-moulded cable accessories
  • Screened separable connectors
  • Mechanical connectors and cable lugs
  • Heat-shrink insulation tubing
  • Busbar insulation tubing
  • Cable sealing and insulation products
  • Cable accessories for renewable-energy projects
  • Cable jointing and termination solutions up to 72.5 kV

Visitors were able to see the products closely, understand their construction and discuss the right solution for their applications.

Our team also explained how product selection, correct installation and technical support work together. A cable accessory must not only meet the required specifications—it must also be suitable for the cable and the actual conditions at site.

What We Heard from the Industry

One message came through clearly during MEE 2026: customers are looking for more than a product supplier.

They want a company that can understand technical requirements, respond on time, support approvals, assist during installation and remain available after supply.

We also had several discussions around:

  • Reliable cable accessories for demanding environments
  • Products suitable for utilities and infrastructure projects
  • Faster and easier installation at site
  • Solutions for solar, wind and other renewable-energy projects
  • Local availability and shorter delivery times
  • Technical documentation, testing and project approvals
  • Installation training and field support

These discussions gave us a clearer understanding of what different markets need and where COMPAQ can add greater value.

Connecting the Middle East with Our Global Experience

The Middle East continues to invest in power distribution, industrial infrastructure, renewable energy and utility development. These projects require cable accessories that are dependable, properly tested and supported by people who understand field conditions.

COMPAQ brings experience from India and international markets across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and other regions. Our cable accessory systems are supported by product development, manufacturing, testing, quality control and installation experience.

At MEE 2026, we met existing partners and opened discussions with new customers, distributors, EPC contractors and utility professionals. These meetings will help us strengthen our presence in the region and build long-term working relationships.

More Than an Exhibition

For COMPAQ, Middle East Energy was not only about displaying products.

It was about listening.

It was about meeting customers face to face, understanding the challenges they see at site and discussing how we can support their next project.

The questions, feedback and opportunities shared during these three days will help guide our product development and market plans. They will also help us improve the way we support customers—from the first enquiry to installation and after-sales service.
