Product Overview
The COMPAQ CCSB Series – Cold Shrink Breakout Boots provide a flame-free, high-performance sealing solution for the crutch area of 3-core power cables. Designed for both polymeric (XLPE/EPR) and PILC-insulated cables, these boots are factory-expanded silicone rubber components supplied on a removable inner plastic core. Once the core is removed, the boot contracts to form an airtight, watertight seal without the need for heat, tools, or adhesives.
Manufactured from high-grade silicone rubber, CCSB boots offer outstanding UV, ozone, and moisture resistance, along with excellent dielectric and thermal performance — making them suitable for both indoor switchgear applications and outdoor substations in medium voltage cable systems.
Installs without heat or flame, ensuring safe use in hazardous or enclosed environments.
Delivers excellent weathering resistance, thermal stability, and dielectric performance.
Prevents moisture ingress, dust contamination, and ozone attack on the crutch area.
Available in multiple sizes to suit a wide range of 3-core LV and MV cables.
Supports electrical field control in screened medium voltage cables.
Supplied in grey for a clean, standardised installation finish.
