Product Overview
The COMPAQ Elbow Terminal Protector (CRTP Series) is a high-performance insulating boot engineered to enhance the dielectric integrity of live terminations in cable entry boxes, RMUs, and compact transformer panels where space constraints increase the risk of phase-to-phase or phase-to-ground flashovers.
Designed for bushings with diameters from 46 mm to 56 mm, the CRTP fits seamlessly over C-type epoxy bushings and is compatible with HT cable sizes ranging from 25 sq.mm to 300 sq.mm. Manufactured from high-grade EPDM or silicone rubber, this moulded, reusable protector resists UV, tracking, pollution, and environmental stress, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor environments.
One-piece, slip-on design allows rapid deployment on-site without tools or adhesives.
Supports cable cross-sections from 25 sq.mm to 300 sq.mm.
Especially effective in humid, dusty, or rodent-prone environments.
Allows safe voltage detection without removing the protector.
Long service life with the option to remove and reinstall.
Continuous operation up to 90°C; withstands 130°C for 4 hours in overload conditions.
Specifically for applications with C-type bushings and limited clearance.
