Product Overview
Heat Shrink Seals for Cable Passages are designed to provide reliable and long-term sealing of cable entry points through buildings, underground ducts, and road crossings. The system effectively prevents the ingress of water, dirt, dust, and environmental contaminants ensuring the protection of cables and surrounding infrastructure.
The solution is based on a high-shrink-ratio heat-shrinkable sleeve with an integrated hot-melt adhesive layer, combined with sealant and reinforcement components. During installation, the sleeve shrinks tightly over the cable and pipe interface, while the adhesive flows to fill surface irregularities, creating a continuous and fully watertight seal.
These sealing systems are suitable for both single and grouped cable installations and are compatible with asbestos cement, plastic and steel pipes commonly used as cable glands.
Provides complete protection against water ingress, dust, and external contaminants at cable entry points.
Wide shrink ratio enables effective sealing across varying pipe and cable diameters with a single solution.
EVA-based hot-melt adhesive ensures excellent bonding to asbestos cement, plastic, and steel pipes.
Designed to seal both individual cables and multiple cable bundles passing through a single duct or gland.
UV-resistant sleeve material delivers dependable performance in outdoor and exposed installations.
Adhesive formulation maintains sealing integrity even under low ambient temperature conditions.
Heat-activated installation allows quick, secure sealing without specialized tools or complex procedures.
Durable materials and sealing technology help protect cable systems and structural interfaces over the long term.

Heat shrink cable passage seals are used to seal cable entry points through buildings, underground ducts, and road crossings, preventing the ingress of water, dust, and environmental contaminants.
Yes. The seals are specifically designed for underground cable passages and provide long-term resistance to moisture, soil contaminants, and environmental ageing.
Yes. The sealing system is suitable for both single and grouped cable installations. The supplied sealant kit and herringbone tape allow multiple cables to be consolidated into a sealed structure before shrinking the sleeve.
The heat shrink seal is compatible with asbestos cement, plastic, and steel pipes commonly used as cable glands in utility and infrastructure installations.
The inner surface of the sleeve is coated with an EVA-based hot-melt adhesive. During installation, the adhesive melts and flows into surface irregularities, gaps, and voids, forming a continuous and watertight seal.
Yes. The sleeve material is resistant to UV radiation and weathering, making it suitable for outdoor and exposed installations.
The COMPAQ Heat Shrink Cable Passage Seal range is available in 9 standard sizes, covering nearly all commonly used pipe diameters employed as cable glands.
Installation is carried out using a standard gas torch or approved heating equipment. No specialized tools are required.
