The COMPAQ CHJ-Tx Series is a specialized heat shrinkable jointing system designed for efficient, reliable, and space-saving cable connections between dissimilar cross sections and conductor constructions. Suitable for 1-core XLPE or EPR insulated medium voltage cables up to 42kV, the CHJ-Tx solution simplifies transitions between copper and aluminum conductors with different sizes — without the need for crimping tools.
This dual-range transition joint is ideally suited for complex retrofit scenarios, system upgrades, and space-constrained environments, offering mechanical strength, electrical integrity, and installation convenience.
Designed to connect copper and aluminum conductors of varying cross-sections (e.g., 25 mm² to 240 mm²), accommodating both new installations and legacy upgrades across XLPE and EPR cable systems.
Pre-fitted with high-performance shear bolt mechanical connectors, the CHJ-Tx eliminates the need for crimping tools, simplifying installation and reducing execution time on-site.
Engineered with a slim profile, the joint is suitable for confined areas such as cable vaults, cabinets, and ducts without compromising performance.
Supplied as a fully integrated system with all necessary components tested for consistency, ensuring reliable electrical and mechanical performance.
