Product Overview
The COMPAQ CHRB/CHSB Series Heat Shrinkable Boots are designed to insulate and protect bushings in air-insulated cable-end boxes integral with medium voltage switchgear and transformers up to 36kV.
Available in Right Angle (CHRB) for 90° layouts and Straight (CHSB) for inline configurations, these boots provide surge and flashover protection in high-humidity, rodent-prone, and polluted environments. The combination of cross-linked polyolefin construction and internal hot-melt adhesive coating ensures a secure moisture seal, long-term dielectric strength, and reliable performance in both indoor and outdoor installations.
CHRB for right-angle terminations; CHSB for straight-line layouts – offering installation flexibility in compact or standard switchgear arrangements.
Shields terminations from flashovers caused by humidity, rodent ingress, or transient overvoltages.
Cross-linked, thermally stabilised polyolefin for superior mechanical and electrical performance.
Hot melt adhesive ensures moisture-tight sealing and enhanced dielectric integrity.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor service in polluted and harsh environments.
Designed for insulation applications up to 36kV.
Shrinks evenly using a gas torch or hot air blower, reducing downtime.
