The COMPAQ CCB Series Heat Shrinkable Semi-Conductive Cable Breakout Boots are designed for use in 3-core cable terminations and joints up to 36kV. These boots provide a semi-conductive screening layer over the cable crutch while delivering watertight environmental sealing and reliable mechanical protection.
Manufactured from thermally stabilised, cross-linked semi-conductive polyolefin and internally coated with red thermoplastic mastic, CCB boots ensure long-term performance in both indoor and outdoor medium voltage applications, even under high electrical and environmental stress.
Ensures effective electrical screening in medium voltage cable accessories, maintaining shielding continuity.
Provides a robust moisture barrier, protecting the crutch area from environmental ingress.
