Product Overview
The COMPAQ CHWT Series Heavy-Wall Heat Shrink Tubing is engineered for medium-voltage cable insulation, sealing, and mechanical protection in demanding environments. Designed for voltages up to 42kV, CHWT offers superior environmental sealing, abrasion resistance, and impact protection for a wide range of industrial and utility applications.
Manufactured from thermally stabilised, cross-linked polyolefin, CHWT delivers excellent dielectric performance combined with extra wall thickness for enhanced mechanical strength. Its 4:1 shrink ratio ensures a precise fit over a broad range of cable sizes, even in irregular shapes and transition areas.
Available with or without hot-melt adhesive lining, CHWT provides long-term sealing performance in underground, submerged, and outdoor exposed conditions, backed by COMPAQ’s 27+ years of manufacturing expertise.
Insulation and sealing for cables and accessories up to 42kV.
Thick wall structure resists abrasion, impact, and external stress.
Long-term reliability in outdoor and extreme conditions.
Non-corrosive, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly.
Accommodates large diameter variations for a secure, tight fit.
Hot-melt adhesive for moisture sealing, uncoated for general insulation.
Performs reliably in harsh climates and polluted environments.
