The COMPAQ CUSC Insulated Cable Adapter is engineered to deliver perfect sealing, superior electrical insulation, and a reliable connection between COMPAQ cable terminations and SF₆-insulated switchgear up to 24 kV.
Designed to fit EN 50181 Type C bushing profiles, this adapter is precision-moulded from high-performance elastomeric materials for exceptional electrical, mechanical, and environmental endurance. It ensures safe operation in compact switchgear arrangements where standard air clearances are insufficient, making it ideal for high-stress electrical environments.
Its non-tracking, erosion-resistant housing delivers excellent dielectric strength, moisture resistance, and long-term performance — even in extreme humidity, heavy pollution, and electrically demanding applications.
Suitable for 6/10 (12) kV to 12/20 (24) kV systems.
One size accommodates cable cross-sections from 50 mm² to 300 mm².
Works seamlessly with all COMPAQ cable terminations; no special tools required.
Can be removed and reinstalled without additional materials.
