Product Overview

The COMPAQ CUSC Series – Unscreened Insulated Cable Adapter is a high-performance elastomeric adapter designed to ensure secure electrical insulation, sealing, and environmental protection between COMPAQ heat shrink terminations and gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) bushings rated up to 24kV.

Developed for Type C bushings as per EN 50181, the CUSC adapter is moulded from non-tracking, weather-resistant elastomer. It ensures dielectric continuity and phase-to-ground insulation in compact SF₆-insulated systems, where limited air clearance would otherwise compromise operational safety.
