Product Overview
The CHIT-P and CHOT-P Series from COMPAQ International are medium voltage heat shrink termination kits designed specifically for paper-insulated lead-covered (PILC) cables operating up to 36kV. These kits are engineered to support legacy cable systems in both indoor and outdoor installations, offering excellent sealing, tracking resistance, and stress control.
Used in substations, retrofit networks, and industrial power systems, CHIT-P and CHOT-P kits are trusted by utilities and EPC contractors for reliable service in demanding field environments.
Compatible with PILC cable types and common variations in screening and armouring.
Withstands environmental stress including UV, moisture, and pollution.
Incorporates COMPAQ Stress Control Tubing for balanced electrical field distribution.
Simplified heat shrink application reduces installation time and ensures field consistency.
Supports both compression and mechanical lugs (supplied separately on request).
